VitaPortal offers a centralized website delivering reliable health and medical information, with every article reviewed by specialty care providers or medical institutions. The site publishes roughly 50 new articles daily and is modeled on the U.S. website WebMD. During an initial test period the portal attracted more than 400,000 visitors and currently reports over 10,000 unique visitors per day; management projected 3.5 million users by the end of 2011. The company plans to expand its range of special services and to launch a dedicated website for doctors. VitaPortal is led by CEO Azamat Ulbashev and was launched by venture group Fast Lane Ventures. Financially, the project has received seed investments totaling more than $1 million.
