Waire Health develops the C-Detect remote patient-monitoring sensor, providing continuous real-time monitoring with embedded AI for hospitals and homes. The platform-agnostic sensors are sold primarily to healthcare-technology platform providers who resell into hospitals and other healthcare organisations. C-Detect operates autonomously and is designed for usability, falling back to cellular if Wi‑Fi drops. The device was developed at the company’s Dunfermline headquarters and is manufactured at a facility near Edinburgh. Waire Health has undergone extensive trials with the University of California and runs pilots with the Irish Government and Tata Group. The company, launched in 2018, plans to expand into global markets including North America and to branch into sectors beyond healthcare as part of its next growth phase.
