The company operates transport flows in over 180 countries. Founded in 2016 and based in Paris, Wakeo has grown its product and investor base while expanding internationally. Financially, the company has now raised over €30 million in total funding after its latest round. Wakeo provides real-time visibility for overseas transport via a platform that aggregates hundreds of global sources. The platform integrates data from shipping lines, airlines, carriers, ERP and TMS systems, satellites, terminals and IoT devices into a data engine powered by AI algorithms to produce intelligent ETAs and anticipate disruptions. Led by co-founder and CEO Julien Cote, Wakeo serves enterprise clients including Uniqlo, Faurecia, Air Liquide, B. Braun and Clasquin. The company raised $11M in a Series A to further invest in ETA calculation models, develop additional value-added features and accelerate international growth. The new financing brings Wakeo’s total funding to $13M following earlier investments from Techstars, 50 Partners and notable business angels, including the former CEO of Bolloré Logistics. Headquartered in Paris, Wakeo plans to expand its global footprint and product capabilities with the Series A proceeds.
