Watershed Health offers a real-time care coordination SaaS platform that becomes the single point of connection among a patient’s clinical and non-clinical providers to reduce costs and improve outcomes. The platform supplies a shared patient record with curated, real-time clinical data, social determinants of health, and contact information, and it integrates with existing EHRs and HIEs. Watershed is HITRUST-certified and supports HIPAA compliance, while generating proprietary quality measures and a virtual workspace for provider communication and care-plan execution. Current customers include four out of six major US health plans and thousands of providers delivering care to more than five million patients. Founded in 2013 to help the Alabama Gulf Coast region, the company has expanded geographically and plans to scale across the United States. The new capital will be used to meet payer and provider demand and to grow engineering, development, customer success and sales teams.
