Welcome provides an HR platform that organizes compensation offers by level and position and delivers them digitally to candidates with role descriptions, equity details, total compensation and welcome notes or videos. The product integrates with systems such as Slack, Lever, Greenhouse, ADP and Justworks to simplify onboarding and centralize compensation data. Today it launched Total Rewards to help existing employees understand their compensation and serve as a pre-retention tool. The company also plans a third product pillar to provide real-time, industry-wide compensation data so companies can benchmark themselves. Welcome was founded in 2019 by Nick Gavronsky and Rick Pereira and has shown early traction with 40 companies on the platform and hundreds on the waitlist. The startup says it will use the new funding to build out the team and further develop the product offerings. Welcome is a startup that offers a "first offer management and closing platform" designed to give candidates a clear picture of total compensation so they can accept or decline offers with understanding. The service is currently in a private alpha that was oversubscribed and the company is not yet charging for the product. Welcome plans to operate as a SaaS, pricing customers by company size, and aims to expand its feature set over time. Future product plans mentioned include offering real-time salary data derived from information flowing through the service and extending into pre-onboarding or onboarding features. The company is a four-person team that expects to double in size this year. Capital raised in January is being used to enable hiring and further product development.
