Ludlow Ventures
1555 Broadway St Fl 3, Detroit, Michigan, 48226, United States
Overview
Ludlow operates differently because we’re a different kind of VC. We believe in VC without ego. We wear our hearts on our sleeves, avoiding the puffery and posturing that has given venture capital a bad name. We fund the dreams of entrepreneurs and startups, becoming close friends with all of the teams we invest in. Truly great companies are built on trust and friendship (and rainbows and luck). VC is a customer service business. Whether it’s testing product, leveraging our network, or forcing people to download your app, we’re here to help. You make our dream jobs possible and we’re forever thankful for that. Check out some of our other projects - www.carpool.vc and www.computer.show

- Artemis
Participated · Equity · Mar 2026
Founded in 2019 as Monalee and now based in Houston, Artemis has evolved from a vertically integrated installer into a pure-play software platform for the distributed-energy market. Its cloud-based OS unifies AI-driven system design, embedded financing, and compliance automation, reducing project cycle times from days to seconds and lowering software costs for customers by as much as 72%. More than 100 installers are already using the tool, reporting up to 5× higher conversion rates and 98% faster turnaround compared with legacy workflows. Key customers include GoodLeap, Empower Home Services, and Dynamic SLR, with GoodLeap cutting design-to-sale time from seven days to one minute. The company claims 27× revenue growth over the past nine months and targets a $200 billion global market opportunity. Recent hiring of former Shell Ventures investor Alexander Urban as CFO underscores its focus on disciplined growth. Fresh capital will fund engineering, customer support, and international expansion, including pilots with Copec in Chile and Colombia.
- Channel3
Participated · Seed · Dec 2025
Channel3 is developing the connected database of every product on the internet, giving developers and merchants API access to a real-time, 50-million-item product catalog. Its technology uses multimodal AI models to match products across retailers, link variants, extract rich attributes and keep information continuously updated, enabling agents and apps to surface the best purchase options and send users straight to merchant checkouts. The platform is storefront-agnostic and offers merchants effortless catalog syncing, affiliate tracking and clean, structured data that adapts as schemas evolve. By handling the complex product-data layer, Channel3 lets developers focus on building frictionless AI shopping experiences rather than on data collection and maintenance. The company plans to expand its engineering team and invest heavily in compute to process billions of tokens so it can scale coverage toward “every product online.” Channel3 is a Y Combinator graduate and is backed by several prominent investors, positioning it to become foundational infrastructure for the emerging “agentic commerce” market.
- Row Zero
Participated · Seed · May 2025
Row Zero is an enterprise spreadsheet built for big data and security that runs in the cloud and can open billion-row datasets. It connects directly to data warehouses including Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, and BigQuery, automatically updates from connected warehouses, and enforces row-level security while allowing administrators to restrict data export. Because it runs in the cloud, Row Zero leverages larger compute and memory to perform analytical operations that would take minutes or hours in Excel and Tableau. Most of its usage comes from Fortune 500 companies seeking to eliminate the security risk of CSV exports from BI tools; Flexport is cited as a customer that shifted weekly reporting from Google Sheets. The company plans to use new funding to expand connector support to ERPs and CRMs, integrate AI into the spreadsheet, and enhance support for Python-based workflows. Row Zero is hiring for roles at its Seattle headquarters and a Pittsburgh satellite office and has raised a total of $13M to date, including the $10M seed announced in May 2025.
