Wellthy

300 W 57th St 33rd Floor, New York, NY, 10019, United States

Overview

Wellthy provides a tech-enabled care concierge service that matches skilled care coordinators—many are social workers—with families to manage appointments, transportation, equipment and other caregiving logistics. Founded in 2015 and based in New York City, the company moved from direct-to-consumer into employer-sponsored benefits by 2017 and now also works with health plans. From 2019 to 2022 lives covered by Wellthy benefits grew from about 100,000 to 2 million, and revenue increased 17x over that period. Today Wellthy partners with hundreds of companies, including about 30 Fortune 500 employers (six of the top 10) and customers such as Best Buy, Cisco and Hilton; it works with roughly 350 employers, 90% of which are full-time. The company maintains a small private-pay business so employees who leave a sponsoring employer can retain access. To expand its offering, Wellthy recently acquired Lantern, a public benefit corporation that guides families on end-of-life planning. Management says the new capital will be used to build out technology and to support launches with health insurance companies. Wellthy operates a digital care concierge platform that combines dedicated Care Coordinators with a technology platform to manage complex, chronic, and ongoing family care needs. The company partners with employers — including Facebook, Cisco, Accenture, Salesforce, and Voya — to provide no-cost access for employees and their families. Recent product priorities include enhancing its smart recommendations engine, advancing predictive support pathways, expanding self-service tools, and launching an online community for caregivers. Wellthy has recently expanded internationally with launches in Canada and the U.K., and the new capital will fund further international expansion, product development, and continued growth. The company reports 7.5X revenue growth over the past two years, revenue retention greater than 100%, more than 75 enterprise clients representing over 600 businesses, and 700,000+ people receiving no-cost access to its services. Customer impact metrics show improved engagement and productivity (90% more engaged/less stressed, 66% missing fewer meetings, 55% recouped 10+ hours, and 33% avoided leave or resignation due to caregiving support). Wellthy is a NYC-based concierge healthcare service that combines dedicated care coordinators with a technology platform to project-manage healthcare for families. The company schedules appointments, organizes medical records, researches treatment options, manages insurance, and communicates with family members. Its platform stores and organizes information digitally and the business runs on a subscription model. The founding team cites deep personal caregiving experience—CEO Lindsay Jurist-Rosner cared for her mother with MS—and collectively has over 50 years of caregiving experience. Wellthy targets family caregivers (an estimated 66 million in the U.S.) and plans to scale its team, expand its service, and announce partnerships to increase the number of families supported. The company recently closed a seed financing to support those near-term goals.
