Wheeliz operates an online marketplace that enables people with adapted vehicles to list and rent them at lower rates than traditional car rental services. The platform currently has 4,200 users and 600 listed vehicles in France. Wheeliz says the €1 million it raised in its first funding round will be used to grow staff and launch a mobile app. The company is considering expansion into additional European countries. MAIF had previously partnered with Wheeliz to offer insurance services, a relationship cited alongside the new investment. Keolis said the investment reflects its commitment to more accessible transport services. Wheeliz was founded in 2015 by Charlotte de Vilmorin and Rémi Janot and is based in Paris.
