WINGStand

Overview
WINGStand is an eco-friendly compact clip crafted from recycled plastic that attaches multi-touch devices such as iPads and iPhones to a full-size Bluetooth keyboard. The product supports all device orientations and fits the shapes and sizes of most tablets, smartphones and e-readers. It pairs with a full-sized wireless keyboard so users can type naturally like on any other computer. Founder Daniel Haarburger, a 19-year-old Stanford student, raised nearly $60,000 on Kickstarter to fund the product launch. The crowdfunding campaign ran seven weeks, attracted over 1,500 early supporters and pre-sold more than 2,500 units. To commercialize the product, Haarburger launched Ethic LLC in August 2011 and assembled an advisory board to support the business.
