Founded in 2023, Xiaoyu Zhizao develops a universal "one-brain, multiple-form" robotics platform aimed at industrial embodied intelligence, initially concentrating on intelligent welding. The founding team includes former senior engineers and product leaders from Xiaomi, Huawei, Microsoft, and ByteDance, with founder Qiao Zhongliang among Xiaomi's earliest employees. As of Q1 2026 the company has about 120 employees, roughly half working on model algorithms. Its products have reached mass-delivery stages and are deployed with multiple strategic clients. Xiaoyu Zhizao signed a strategic cooperation to deploy 1,000 welding robots over the next year and has outlined commercial scale targets of shipping 5,000–10,000 units annually to enter the first tier and 100,000 units to secure a leading position. The company has attracted investors across consumer electronics, automotive, shipping, and construction sectors following its recent B+ funding round.
