Xignite delivers cloud-based financial market data APIs on an elastic, multi-tenant infrastructure built on open standards and designed to be scalable with zero footprint. The company powers over 1,000 customers, including Betterment, SoFi, and Robinhood, and served more than 455 billion data requests from its APIs. Over the past year Xignite grew bookings by over 50 percent and says demand is doubling every six months. The company will use the new capital to scale sales and marketing and expand product capabilities to fuel continued global growth. Xignite is partnering with QUICK Corporation to bring its cloud data solutions to the Asian market and to distribute QUICK’s proprietary financial data through Xignite’s APIs. Xignite is based in San Mateo, Calif. Xignite provides a market data cloud platform that delivers real-time, historical and reference data via more than 50 financial cloud APIs. Its platform fulfills more than five billion service requests per month and serves over 900 clients in 47 countries. XigniteOnDemand enables exchanges and trading venues to distribute market data globally and powers front-, middle- and back-office applications as well as web, mobile and e‑commerce use cases. The company’s customers and partners include Citi, GE, Wells Fargo, NASDAQ OMX, CME Group and others. Xignite plans to use the new financing to expand sales and marketing operations and to extend the Xignite market data cloud platform.
