Zentila provides an online sourcing, booking and tracking solution for meetings and conventions. Founded in 2011 by hospitality industry veteran CEO Mike Mason with Tom Murphy as CTO, the company is based in Winter Garden, Florida. Zentila says it has served 1,500 corporate users. It closed a $2.1M Series A financing led by Vocap Ventures, with participation from Arsenal Venture Partners, venVelo and Matt Avril. Matt Avril, former president at Starwood Hotels and Resorts, will join Zentila’s board of directors. The company intends to use the funds to further advance its offerings and continue to build market share.
