Zhiguoguo provides free online trademark registration forms to help Chinese businesses navigate regional differences in trademark filing and offers paid legal and consulting services for changes, transfers, and copyright applications. The company standardizes the application process by giving businesses the same online forms regardless of their location. It charges for additional services with prices starting from 500 yuan (about $80). Zhiguoguo has processed 20,000 orders since May 2014. The startup highlights a large and growing market: more than 2 million trademarks were registered in China last year, with that number expected to rise at least 30% annually. Zhiguoguo plans to use new capital for marketing, hiring, and expanding its roster of paid legal and consulting services.
