Chengdu-based Starlink Connectivity is one of the few Chinese commercial players that has achieved end-to-end independent control of satellite communication systems, spanning satellite baseband platforms to ground-terminal chips. Its flagship Skyway baseband system—built on a modular, reconfigurable architecture—has reached international advanced performance levels and is already deployed at scale in national emergency communication projects. The company is also advancing a RISC-V low-orbit satellite communication SoC, aiming to deliver smaller, lower-power, higher-performance terminals that move satellite connectivity from niche to mass-market use. Beyond high-orbit services, Starlink Connectivity has built a complete high- and low-orbit satellite IoT product suite that covers multiple frequency bands and application scenarios, enabling global full-domain perception and intelligent interconnection. Its solutions have been commercially implemented across emergency response, energy, and other special-purpose sectors, with more than 10,000 units deployed. Internationally, the firm has entered Belt-and-Road markets to co-build high-throughput satellite communication systems for enhanced emergency and energy monitoring. Looking ahead, the company plans to drive growth through a “chip + system” model, consolidate its high-orbit market leadership, and seize the emerging low-orbit satellite Internet opportunity.

Founded in December 2023 by Wang Qian, X Square focuses on full-stack self-research of software and hardware for embodied intelligence, designing robot bodies and core components in-house. The company has released two high-performance robot bodies named "Quantum No. 1" and "Quantum No. 2" and developed robotic arms, joint modules, power drives and main controllers with algorithm adaptation to reduce overall robot cost. X Square says this vertical integration is intended to enable large-scale mass production and commercial implementation. Since early 2026 it has begun deployments and partnerships across industrial manufacturing, logistics and elderly care, and established a joint venture with Jack Technology and partnerships with 58 Daojia and Shenqi Group. Financially, X Square has raised over ¥3 billion across three rounds in about three months, with Meituan as the largest external shareholder holding roughly 11.09% and founder Wang Qian ultimately holding about 28.69% of shares. The company emphasizes building data-closed-loop foundation models, model iteration and data pipelines to advance embodied intelligence capabilities.

Arnatar Therapeutics emerged from stealth to advance RNA-based therapeutics using its proprietary platforms, including the ACT-UP1 platform for upregulating protein expression and the DARGER™ platform that combines siRNA with upregulating ASOs. Its lead candidate, ART4, is an up‑regulating antisense oligonucleotide designed to increase endogenous JAG1 protein expression and is administered subcutaneously with once‑monthly dosing. In preclinical studies ART4 increased JAG1 protein levels, restored bile duct development, and reduced markers of liver injury (including bile acids and ALT) in a validated Alagille Syndrome mouse model; it was well tolerated in adult and newborn animals. The company plans to use its new funding to advance the DARGER™ platform and a pipeline targeting cardiometabolic, liver, CNS, and kidney diseases. Arnatar was founded in 2022, received seed financing from Apricot Capital, and is based in San Diego, CA.

Pharos is building an "asset-native" layer 1 blockchain intended to support tokenized real-world assets such as bonds, energy projects and private credit. The network emphasizes parallel processing and compliance features aimed at handling regulated financial activity at scale. Pharos targets a market it values at $50 trillion and cites growth in on-chain real-world assets, which it noted totalled $24.3 billion. The project reports millions of users and unique addresses on its testnet and has partnerships, including with energy firm GCL for solar-backed assets. Financially, Pharos recently raised $44 million in a Series A and previously raised $8 million in a seed round, and a prior investment from GCL New Energy placed a near-$1 billion valuation on the firm. The company expects to debut its mainnet in the near future.

CytoTronics develops semiconductor-to-live-cell interfaces called Pixel that provide multi-modal, single-cell resolution monitoring of viability, morphology, electrophysiology and more. The company launched early access programs for Pixel Primo and Pixel Octo, with Pixel Octo aimed at improving scalability for high-throughput discovery applications. Pixel has received a 2024 SLA New Product Award and an R&D 100 award. CytoTronics plans to expand commercial and field teams, scale manufacturing and production, and is preparing for first product shipments in 2025. The company was founded as a Harvard spinout in 2021 and is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. CytoTronics is commercializing a CMOS-powered drug discovery platform that provides optics-free, single-cell resolution electrical and electrochemical assays. The platform is an integrated single-cell resolution electrochemical-imaging array that produces electrical and image-like readouts from live cells without optics. Its suite of patented technologies was developed over a decade of research at Harvard and licensed exclusively to CytoTronics via Harvard Office of Technology Development. The company aims to target the roughly $20 billion low-throughput cell-based assay market and quickly progress to higher-throughput workflows to make drug-discovery research more precise, automatic, repeatable, and scalable. Seed funding of $9.25M will be used to commercialize research-demonstrated devices and advance platform development. CytoTronics has opened wet-biology and electronics labs at Agility Labs in Boston to continue R&D and further develop its platform.
