Founded in 2025 and based in Lisbon, Ekiden is developing a decentralized derivatives trading platform designed for high-frequency and algorithmic trading by professional users, trading firms, and market makers. The team is building on Arbitrum and emphasizes faster trade execution with on-chain settlement to preserve transparency and user control. - Turtle Club
Participated · Seed · May 2025
Turtle has built a liquidity distribution protocol that curates opportunities, consolidates liquidity, and routes it to DeFi partners via a data-driven coordination layer. The platform currently serves an expanding network, linking more than 358,000 wallets and routing over $5.5 billion in liquidity. To date, the company has generated more than $6 million in revenue, illustrating the sustainability of its model compared with short-term incentive schemes. Led by CEO Essi Lagevardi, Turtle is now focusing on accelerating the rollout of its Earn infrastructure, enlarging its engineering team, and deepening multi-chain integrations. The recent capital injection lifts its total external funding to $11.7 million. These resources are intended to fuel further product development and ecosystem expansion across multiple blockchains.
- Fortytwo
Participated · Seed · Mar 2025
Fortytwo builds a decentralised peer-to-peer AI network that links small language models running on consumer-grade hardware into a collaborative Swarm Inference system. The platform routes multi-step reasoning tasks across specialised models that peer-review responses to reduce errors and hallucinations. Developers can access reasoning via an Inference API or on-chain, while node operators run models, earn rewards, and receive ratings recorded on the Monad blockchain. Fortytwo has launched a devnet on the Monad testnet and operates an early adopter program called “Hitchhiking to AGI.” The company says each new node strengthens the network’s intelligence without costly centralised training, aiming for cost-efficient, scalable, and community-owned AI. Financially, Fortytwo raised $2.3M in pre-seed funding to accelerate its devnet rollout, advance distributed multi-step reasoning, and fund further research and product development.
- Pharos
Participated · Seed · Nov 2024
Pharos is building an "asset-native" layer 1 blockchain intended to support tokenized real-world assets such as bonds, energy projects and private credit. The network emphasizes parallel processing and compliance features aimed at handling regulated financial activity at scale. Pharos targets a market it values at $50 trillion and cites growth in on-chain real-world assets, which it noted totalled $24.3 billion. The project reports millions of users and unique addresses on its testnet and has partnerships, including with energy firm GCL for solar-backed assets. Financially, Pharos recently raised $44 million in a Series A and previously raised $8 million in a seed round, and a prior investment from GCL New Energy placed a near-$1 billion valuation on the firm. The company expects to debut its mainnet in the near future.
