ZoneFox is a cybersecurity software specialist delivering insider-threat detection and visibility tools that give security teams rapid insights into where business-critical data is going and who is accessing or mishandling it. Its systems are designed to surface accidental or malicious activity without impacting endpoints or user privacy. The company recently launched ZoneFox Augmented Intelligence (AI), a machine-learning solution targeted at a wide range of business sectors. ZoneFox plans to use new funding to continue product development and innovation while expanding its commercial footprint. Planned operational growth includes tripling headcount to 30 staff by the end of 2017, moving into a new Edinburgh headquarters and opening a London office to extend sales and technical teams. Financially, ZoneFox closed a £3.6m Series A after previously raising £2.5m in seed funding.
