Gamestream is a French white-label cloud gaming provider whose platform delivers console-quality games requiring only three megabits of bandwidth. Launched in 2019 by co-founders Ivan Lebeau and Xavier Cavin, the company offers over 300 licensed titles aimed at families and casual gamers through partnerships with publishers including Disney Interactive, Outright Games, and Microids. Its platform is deployed across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and India and is also distributed through Accor hotels worldwide. Gamestream recently expanded in India and is now targeting West Africa, focusing on markets where consoles and full-price games are less affordable. The company has raised €4.5M in fresh funding to support further international expansion. Co-founder Ivan Lebeau said the fundraising will help impose the cloud-gaming subscription model internationally by offering unlimited licensed access for a few euros a month. Gamestream builds B2B high-definition cloud gaming solutions for business customers. Its core product is cloud gaming technology delivered as a business solution. The company raised a €3.5m Series A aimed at accelerating national and international development. The funding is intended to support the expansion of its worldwide activities. The round included participation from historical shareholder 2CRSI and new investors such as ex‑Telenet CEO Ronny Verhelst and Revier Hotels owners Philipp and Remo Bienz. eponyme partners advised Gamestream on the fundraising. Gamestream provides high-definition video game streaming services through partnerships with telecom operators and hotel groups, supplying a one-stop solution across TVs, PCs, smartphones and tablets. Since March 2019 its Gameqoo service (hosted on 2CRSI servers) has allowed Telkom Indonesia’s fiber and ADSL subscribers — part of its 170 million subscriber base — to access more than 150 games. More than one million Etisalat customers in Dubai can access the ELIFE TV Gaming service and subscribe to Gamestream’s monthly offers. Gamestream selected 2CRSI’s tailor-made, high-performance servers for reactivity and geographic coverage to optimize streaming quality. The company has begun its first fundraising campaign to accelerate deployment. To date 2CRSI has contributed approximately €1 million and holds 12.45% of Gamestream’s share capital. Gamestream plans to expand its streaming offering into Europe and North America, leveraging 5G and broader cloud-gaming demand.

Blade is a cloud computing specialist and Next40 member best known for Shadow, its online gaming service. Shadow is described as a high-quality online gaming service with around 70,000 subscribers worldwide. On October 28, 2019, Blade completed a €33.5m capital increase to finance rapid development, attracting historic shareholders and new investors. As part of the operation, 2CRSi took a €2m equity stake through conversion of debt, reinforcing a special partnership between the companies. New CEO Jérôme Arnaud said the raise provides solid visibility to accelerate development and launch new offerings in France and abroad under the new management. The company also highlights commercial ties with OVHCloud and intends to leverage its technological infrastructure performance as a decisive asset for its growth. Blade operates Shadow, a cloud PC service that lets users run high-end Windows 10 games on ordinary devices like older PCs, smart TVs, laptops, Macs, tablets, and smartphones. The service targets low-latency, high‑quality experiences (up to 4K) and requires roughly 15 Mbps for a stable connection. Blade says it can capture and compress 4K images in under three milliseconds by capturing frames inside the graphics chip. The company launched Shadow in France in November 2017 and completed a soft launch in California to validate platform and data-center infrastructure. Blade plans to roll out new services, hire talent in the U.S. and Europe, and expand through partnerships with game studios (Ubisoft Nadeo) and esports organizations (Team Envy). The company has indicated a $35/month pricing target as an alternative to buying an expensive gaming PC.
