- Padcare Labs
Participated · Series A · Feb 2026
Founded in 2018, PadCare Labs operates a chemo-mechanical recycling system that converts used sanitary pads into cellulose pulp and plastic, enabling the manufacture of items such as paper stationery and moulded goods. The company serves more than 685 enterprise and institutional clients across 24 Indian cities and manages sanitary-waste collection at over 2,000 sites. It currently runs facilities in Pune and Bengaluru with a combined capacity of 500 kg per day, operating at roughly 96 % utilisation and achieving a 99.8 % material recovery rate. Financially, PadCare reported FY25 revenue of ₹15 crore, an 8 % PAT margin and 26 % EBITDA margins, maintaining profitability for two consecutive years while growing at a 136 % CAGR. Future plans include commissioning the PadCareX gigafactory in Pune, expanding recycling hubs in Bengaluru and Delhi NCR, and scaling total capacity to 2,000 metric tonnes annually by March 2027. The firm also intends to launch PadCare Orbit, a B2C sanitary-waste management app, and expand distribution of its Rebirth recycled-stationery line from 2 % of revenue in FY25 to about 10 % in FY26. Overall, PadCare positions itself as a technology-driven solution for India’s under-addressed sanitary-waste segment while maintaining strong operational efficiency and profitability.

- Cellarim Labs
Led · Seed · Dec 2025
Founded in 2023 by Hitesh Rafalia and Nisa Mehreen, Cellarim Labs is a biotechnology startup focused on alternative production methods for cosmetic bioactives. Its core innovation is a cell-free, enzyme-driven manufacturing platform that replaces traditional fermentation and chemical synthesis, turning renewable bio-waste into high-specification ingredients. The company has already commercialised NeuHyal™, a Hyaluronic Acid portfolio spanning 10 kDa to 5000 kDa, developed within a single year for skincare, cosmetic, and related applications. To speed new ingredient development, Cellarim is also building an AI-driven biofoundry where partner brands can submit target molecules for rapid design, testing, and production. By tackling supply volatility, purity variability, and import dependence, the startup aims to give brands a reliable, cost-effective source of bioactives. Its initial commercial focus is the global Hyaluronic Acid market, estimated at $9 billion. Proceeds from its recent seed funding will support a pilot-scale biomanufacturing facility, scale NeuHyal™ production, and expand B2B ingredient supply channels.
- Planys Technologies
Participated · Equity · Dec 2025
Founded in 2015 by IIT-Madras alumni and professors, Planys Technologies builds hybrid remotely operated vehicles (ROVs), robotic crawlers and autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) that inspect hard-to-reach marine and industrial infrastructure. Its platform combines patented hardware—21 granted patents and 15 pending—with an AI-enabled 3D Inspection Twin to deliver advanced non-destructive testing, including the world’s only underwater concrete testing solution for infrastructure. The company has logged more than 25,000 operational hours across 500 sites in over 10 countries for 150+ enterprise customers such as Reliance Industries, Shell and Saudi Aramco. Planys is now creating an explosion-proof ROV called TankRover for in-service hydrocarbon tank inspections and is scaling a defence-focused subsidiary, Planys Ark, to supply mission-ready unmanned underwater vehicles (UUVs) for mine countermeasures, ISR and expendable missions. Backed by three iDEX challenge wins, it is also planning a new UUV production facility in South Chennai with advanced fabrication and testing capabilities. International expansion is underway through partnerships with Applus Velosi in Qatar and HUB71 in Abu Dhabi, aimed at broadening global inspection delivery and product commercialisation.
