Illumix is a Menlo Park–based game studio emerging from stealth that builds phone-based AR games whose content dynamically scales based on the user's physical environment. Its technology aims to adapt content in real time without requiring users to pre-scan their space, using environmental understanding derived from how a user normally holds their phone, according to co-founder Kirin Sinha. The company emphasizes that it is primarily a game studio and that the tech serves its creative ambitions rather than existing as a demo.
