Ackcio is a Singapore-based deep-tech company (founded in 2016) that builds long-range, mesh-based wireless monitoring and data-capture technologies for industries such as construction, infrastructure, rail, and mining. Its solution enables remote, real-time oversight of geotechnical projects to boost operational efficiency, reduce costs, improve worker safety, and support regulatory compliance. The company says the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated demand for remote operations and that its client base expanded to 22 areas on six continents over the past year, driving a considerable increase in revenue. Ackcio plans to use new funding to accelerate regional expansion, enhance R&D, and enter new industry verticals. The company will hire sales, engineering, and operations staff across Asia, the Americas, and Europe and expand its client and partner network in the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania. Management has identified additional target sectors including oil & gas, energy, and power infrastructure where data-driven risk management is critical.
