Canara Robeco AMC Ltd. operates as an asset management company formed by Canara Bank and ORIX Corporation Europe NV. In preparation for its stock-market debut, the firm is conducting an initial public offering that is entirely an Offer for Sale, meaning the company itself will not receive any IPO proceeds. The IPO price band has been set at ₹253–266 per share, and retail investors can bid in lots of 56 shares (minimum outlay of ₹14,896). Prior to the IPO opening, the company allotted 1.49 million shares to anchor investors at the top-end price of ₹266. This anchor placement raised ₹397 million from more than 15 institutional investors. The IPO aims to sell shares worth ₹1,326 million, giving Canara Robeco AMC a post-issue market capitalisation of about ₹5,305 million. Trading in the shares is scheduled to commence on 16 October after the subscription closes and allotment is finalised.
