  Ole is an on-demand app that lets customers browse and purchase designer clothing from nearby luxury stores—including Miu Miu, Acne Studios, Isabel Marant, Fleur du Mal and Lisa Yang—with guaranteed delivery in 50 minutes. Its Try At Home service lets users receive multiple sizes, try items at home while messengers wait up to 15 minutes, and return unwanted items immediately. Ole charges a $5 delivery fee and takes a 25% commission from retail partners; average order value is $450 and about 40% of users are repeat customers. Messengers deliver by bicycle to promote sustainability, are vetted for service and interest in fashion, half the delivery team are women, and Ole says it pays them above market rates. Founded in 2021 and currently operating only in New York City, Ole plans U.S. and European expansion in 2024 and product enhancements including live chat and AI-powered personalized recommendations. The company says it will use the new capital to further develop the product and partner with more brands to expand its offering.
