- Lumilens
Participated · Series C · Aug 2026
Lumilens develops photonic connectivity solutions intended to connect thousands or hundreds of thousands of GPUs so they can operate as a single system, addressing the limits of copper-based scale-out networks. The team moved from founding to defining, qualifying and shipping its first product within about two years, and that product is deployed in a hyperscaler’s production AI data centers under a multi-billion-dollar agreement. Lumilens emerged from stealth concurrent with its announced raise of more than $900 million from a syndicate of venture and institutional investors. Management says the funding will support building out infrastructure and developing additional products on its roadmap. The company positions itself at the intersection of optics and AI infrastructure to overcome physical constraints on GPU-scale networking.
- Exaforce
Participated · Series B · May 2026
Exaforce develops an AI-driven security platform that uses autonomous agents called Exabots to analyze data and automate security operations. After two years of testing with design partners, the company launched its product commercially in Q4 of last year and has since added 20 customers, including Replit and Guardant Health. Exaforce introduced a natural-language query feature called "vibe hunting" to let security teams investigate potential attacks via simple hypotheses. The company claims its platform can reduce manual security tasks by as much as 90% and expects to reach 40 to 50 customers by year-end. Exaforce is a three-year-old startup with total funding of $200 million and a Series B valuation of $725 million, and it competes with startups like 7ai, Dropzone AI, and Prophet Security as well as incumbents such as Palo Alto Networks and CrowdStrike.
- EPIC Microsystems
Participated · Series A · Mar 2026
EPIC Microsystems develops a hybrid switched-capacitor (HSC) power delivery architecture that replaces bulky inductors with a mix of capacitors and optimized components to improve power efficiency, current density, z-height and thermal performance for AI accelerators and GPUs. The company positions its technology to address scaling challenges as rack densities and AI data center power demands rise toward the multi-megawatt era. Founding team members are industry veterans with prior experience pioneering switched-capacitor solutions in the mobile market, including fast-charging implementations deployed in hundreds of millions of smartphones and laptops. EPIC says its design is silicon-proven and optimized for compact, low-profile integration and system-level thermal management. Financially, the company raised $21 million in a Series A and $26 million in total funding to date. The new funding will be used to accelerate development and commercialization, and Umesh Padval of Seligman Ventures joined the company's board.
