Overview
The AICPA is the world’s largest member association representing the accounting profession, with more than 394,000 members in 128 countries and more than a 125-year heritage of serving the public interest. Founded in 1887, the AICPA represents the CPA profession nationally regarding rule-making and standard-setting, and serves as an advocate before legislative bodies, public interest groups and other professional organizations. The AICPA develops standards for audits of private companies and other services by CPAs; provides educational guidance materials to its members; develops and grades the Uniform CPA Examination; and monitors and enforces compliance with the profession’s technical and ethical standards. The AICPA’s founding established accountancy as a profession distinguished by rigorous educational requirements, high professional standards, a strict code of professional ethics, a licensing status and a commitment to serving the public interest. AICPA members represent many areas of practice, including business and industry, public practice, government, education and consulting. The AICPA sets ethical standards for the profession and U.S. auditing standards for audits of private companies, nonprofit organizations, federal, state and local governments. It develops and grades the Uniform CPA Examination and offers specialty credentials for CPAs who concentrate on personal financial planning; fraud and forensics; business valuation; and information technology. Through a joint venture with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, it has established the Chartered Global Management Accountant designation to elevate management accounting globally.

ElectroNeek is a San Francisco-based robotic process automation (RPA) platform that provides a suite of software solutions to automate repetitive IT and business tasks. Led by CEO Sergey Yudovskiy, the company enables MSPs to build, deploy and administer RPA bots and offer RPA-as-a-Service subscriptions while allowing enterprises to replace legacy RPA vendors and reduce bot license costs. MSPs can retain pricing control for end users and gain a recurring revenue stream by offering managed RPA services. ElectroNeek reports roughly 250 customers across more than 40 countries and has technology and go-to-market partnerships with Microsoft, Oracle and Nvidia. The company raised $20M in a Series A that valued it at over $100M. It plans to use the funds to expand engineering, product and support teams across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and India. electroNeek Robotics develops software to automate routine office workers' tasks across desktop and cloud applications. Its product operates at the GUI level and via cloud connectors, emerging from Robotic Process Automation and Cloud Orchestration technologies. The platform can extract and interpret information from business documents (e.g., invoices or purchase orders), desktop and SaaS applications (e.g., Salesforce), process it, fill out forms, create custom reports, or move data between apps following business instructions. The company targets mid-market and small businesses that have many repetitive tasks and constantly changing IT infrastructure and processes. Led by CEO Sergey Yudovskiy, electroNeek works with more than 80 implementation partners globally, including PwC. Financially, the company recently raised $500k in pre-seed funding and previously secured its first external financing at the end of 2018 to release its software product.
