Quorum provides one-click backup, recovery and continuity appliance and DRaaS solutions aimed at protecting midmarket companies' revenue, customers and reputation. The company's core offering is a one-click backup and recovery appliance plus disaster-recovery-as-a-service. Following the Series C, Quorum plans to expand sales and marketing efforts and hire additional engineers. Management changes accompanied the round, with Walter Angerer of Toba Capital joining as interim CEO and industry expert Paul Sallaberry joining the board. The company previously raised a Series B in May 2013. The business is headquartered in San Jose, California. Quorum provides small to mid-sized businesses with hybrid cloud and appliance backup, recovery and continuity solutions. Its platform is designed to recover disasters within minutes and includes automatic and on-demand testing at no additional cost. The company plans to use the $11M Series B proceeds to expand sales and marketing and hire additional engineers to extend its product portfolio. Quorum is led by CEO Larry Lang and is based in San Jose, CA. The Series B was led by new investor Toba Capital with participation from existing investor Airtek Capital Group.
