Dat Bike designs and produces electric motorbikes for the mass Vietnamese two-wheeler market, which counts more than 77 million bikes in circulation and around 3 million new sales each year. The company positions its models as locally built, high-performance alternatives to gasoline motorcycles. Fresh capital is being channelled into scaling production capacity, improving its supply chain, upgrading distribution networks, and deepening R&D. Management consulting and value-chain optimisation support are also being provided by its latest investor, Thien Viet Securities (TVS). Dat Bike previously secured a US$22 million Series B round in 2023, with regulatory filings indicating US$33.9 million in total that year when debt and convertible notes are included. Past backers include F.C.C Co. Ltd., Rebright Partners, Jungle Ventures, Cathay Venture, TVS Motor, Wavemaker Pacific, and AiViet Ventures. The additional funds position Dat Bike to capture a larger share of Vietnam’s rapidly electrifying mobility sector.
