Participated · Series A · Dec 2025
Founded in June 2023, Sherpas builds and operates SMPLY, an IT asset-management solution that connects corporate SaaS subscriptions, software licences, and other IT assets in a single workflow. The cloud platform gives enterprises clear visibility into where IT budgets are spent and which tools are actually being used, solving the common problem of fragmented and opaque software stacks. Over roughly two and a half years the team has focused on product development and secured ‘many leading companies’ as paying customers, although specific user or revenue figures were not disclosed. Customer feedback is being used to harden the product and expand functionality. Looking ahead, the company plans to enhance SMPLY with AI-driven features and broaden its reach to transform IT operations for more organisations. Sherpas is actively hiring sales and marketing talent to support this next growth phase. The firm’s financial footing has been strengthened by a recent ₩2.1 billion pre-Series A round backed by multiple institutional investors.
- BIGC
Participated · Series A · Sep 2025
BIGC operates an All-in-One Digital Venue platform that supports online monetization of live entertainment and artist IP, offering ticketing, AI-enhanced live streaming, fan interaction tools, video-on-demand, global e-commerce, and fan data analytics. The company uses proprietary AI-driven streaming technology and a data engine that analyzes fan behavior across more than 200 countries. Initially focused on K-pop and Korean cultural concerts, BIGC has expanded to J-pop, global musicians, and festival IPs. Launched two years ago, the platform is available in 224 countries and has attracted over 1.1 million registered members, about 80% of whom are international (notably Japan, Greater China, and North America). Over the past year membership grew 13x, average revenue rose nearly fivefold, and the company has sustained an average quarterly growth rate of 48% for six consecutive quarters. BIGC plans to use new funding to accelerate product development, expand its global footprint, enhance services for artists and fans, and strengthen infrastructure to support larger-scale events and more complex monetization strategies. Bigk builds an all-in-one digital venue platform that delivers concerts, showcases, artist homes, voting, live streaming, VOD, commerce and analytics using proprietary video and live/SaaS technology. The company combines AI-enhanced live technology with fandom data from more than 200 countries to connect artists and fans and help entertainment and broadcast partners monetize IP. Bigk launched targeting global K-pop and K-culture fandoms and completed projects such as CJ ENM’s KCON; it has collaborated with top K-pop artists (Infinite, Taemin, Bambam, Cha Eun-woo) and leading K-drama actors. Since launch Bigk has attracted fans across 200+ countries and reports overseas revenue exceeding 60% of sales. Founded in 2021 by CEO Kim Mi-hee (former Samsung and founder of Tutoring) with CTO Kim Jeong-woo, the team leverages seven-plus years of live and SaaS experience. The company plans further international expansion and additional fundraising to support global growth.
