UNION is an open, decentralized technology platform that builds protection products and risk-management tools for decentralized finance (DeFi). The project intends to launch a protocol and set of tools in the coming months that incorporate an advanced risk-management and protection framework. Its planned products include bundled protections with layered coverage (Layer 1, smart contract, exposure, and transaction completion risks) and a decentralized secondary protection market. UNION emphasizes a truly decentralized protection platform that is not bound by members-only models, does not require KYC, and will be paired with an on-chain governance process.
