Karamtara Engineering manufactures a range of engineering steel products including transmission line towers, solar structures and tracker components, wind energy structures, structural steel profiles and fasteners for domestic and overseas markets. The company reported revenue of around ₹4,300 crore in FY2025-26 and is among the largest exporters of solar structures and tracker components to North America. Karamtara is expanding its manufacturing footprint with new facilities in Bhachau, Gujarat, and in Saudi Arabia. It has received SEBI approval and is moving ahead with a proposed IPO that includes a ₹1,350 crore fresh issue and a ₹400 crore offer-for-sale by promoters, although the fresh issue size will be reduced following recent pre-IPO placements. Prior to the Amara Partners investment, the company completed a ₹307 crore pre-DRHP round in January 2025 and a ₹164 crore friends-and-family secondary transaction involving several celebrity and sports personalities.

The company targets impact-driven segments such as healthcare, education, and renewable energy while also serving general consumer credit needs. Fibe has maintained four consecutive years of profitability, distinguishing itself from many peers in the consumer fintech space. To date, the firm has secured more than $266 million in total equity capital. Its backers include IFC, Amara Partners, TR Capital, Trifecta Capital, TPG Rise Fund, and Norwest Venture Partners. The fresh capital is earmarked to broaden the product suite and create a unified experience across borrowing, saving, investing, and payments. Headquartered in Pune, the company positions itself as a full-spectrum financial services provider for India’s emerging middle class.
