Droppie operates physical stores in major Dutch cities where residents can drop off bulky household waste. The company opened its first store two years ago and now runs 13 locations focused on denser urban areas. Founders Stef Traa and Natascha Hermschen plan rapid national expansion, aiming to double store count this year and again the next to reach roughly 70 locations. Management targets onboarding 500,000 Dutch households and has received interest from other countries, but current focus remains on the Netherlands. Droppie recently raised €4.2 million to fund this growth and says the capital could enable the company to become profitable.
