Healthy.io builds smartphone-powered clinical-grade diagnostics and care tools, including an FDA-cleared at-home kidney test called Minuteful Kidney and smartphone-enabled wound imaging using computer vision. The company’s at-home urinalysis services and patient engagement tools are marketed commercially across the United States and the United Kingdom and are integrated with health insurers and providers. Healthy.io’s products enable clinicians to monitor high‑risk patients remotely, provide timely clinical data and visual wound records, and help close care gaps and reduce deterioration and amputations. Led by CEO and founder Yonatan Adiri, the company partners with health plans, health systems, and kidney care management groups to deploy its Minuteful Kidney service. The company also offers wound image technology to digitize chronic wound management. Healthy.io is based in Boston, MA; London, UK; and Tel Aviv, Israel. Healthy.io develops smartphone-based clinical diagnostic tools that use the phone camera as a medical device, beginning with an FDA- and European-cleared smartphone urinalysis. Its first offering has been used by tens of thousands of patients across a range of smartphones. The company also received FDA 510(k) clearance for a smartphone-based albumin-to-creatinine ratio (ACR) test to aid chronic kidney disease diagnosis. Healthy.io partners with health-care and technology organizations including Siemens, Samsung, the UK National Health Service, Geisinger Health, Johns Hopkins University and the US National Kidney Foundation. The company plans to accelerate global expansion and further product development using the newly raised capital. Yonatan Adiri is founder and CEO, and the company added industry veteran Gary Loveman to its board to advise U.S. activities. Healthy.io has developed a smartphone urinalysis platform—an FDA- and CE-cleared home urine test that uses a smartphone camera to scan dipsticks and send results directly to clinicians, integrated with medical records. The company positions this “medical selfie” to shift clinical-grade urinalysis from labs to patients' homes and to improve early detection of kidney disease. Its digital urinalysis pathway is already being used by more than 100,000 patients through partnerships with organizations including Siemens Healthineers, the UK National Health Service, the US National Kidney Foundation, Geisinger Health, Clalit, Maccabi, and Meuhedet. Clinical assessments with Geisinger and the US National Kidney Foundation showed a 71% adherence rate among previously untested hypertensive patients; in the UK rollout 10% of patients tested positive for elevated protein, indicating previously unknown kidney disease. CEO Yonatan Adiri says Healthy.io operates a “pay per protein” model and aims to reduce costs for strained medical systems while preventing kidney disease complications. Recently the company raised $18 million in a Series B to help scale its home testing service in the U.S. and U.K.

Minute.ly, founded in 2014 and based in Tel Aviv, offers a video optimisation tool tailored to sports, entertainment, and news companies. The company blends crowdsourced data and artificial intelligence, using deep/machine learning to provide insights into video performance and engagement. Its proprietary technology claims to automatically analyse hundreds of videos and extract the five most thrilling seconds to create video teasers and connect viewers with targeted content on broadcasting sites. CEO and co-founder Amit Golan says the product helps publishers maximise revenue and cut costs amid rising IP video traffic. The recent financing will support further development of Minute.ly’s AI-driven solutions and global scaling. Total reported funding to date is $12 million. Minute builds an Android and web application that identifies the most viral parts of online videos using big data and crowd data and converts those moments into short, Vine-like clips. The platform surfaces engaging highlights so users can discover more videos and choose video packages based on interest. On mobile, users swipe through a deck of video cards—swiping right to like and left to skip—using an interface likened to Tinder. Highlights can be paused, repeated, and shared, letting users swipe through a reel of short clips instead of watching full-length videos. Minute has raised a cumulative $4M in funding from unnamed investors to develop its video-technology products.
