  Founded in 2016 by Ryno Goosen and his team, Locstat has built a graph-powered artificial intelligence and complex event-processing platform that continuously analyses both real-time and static data. The system surfaces hidden insights for use cases such as fraud detection, anti-money laundering, customer journey mapping and geo-spatial analytics, and is already deployed across high-volume African financial-services environments. Locstat’s technology combines streaming analytics with graph data science to drive faster, smarter decision-making for its clients. Having proven its capabilities in Africa, the company now plans to expand its footprint in the United Kingdom and broader European Union while continuing to grow across Africa. To support this, it secured fresh capital in a pre-Series A round. The new funds position the company to scale its partner network and accelerate go-to-market activities in Europe.
