- Augmodo
Participated · Series A · Jul 2025
Augmodo develops "physical AI" by capturing egocentric data to let computers see the world through a worker's eyes and assist in real time. The company's core capability is understanding a person, a hand, an object, and the surrounding 3D space to enable tasks across physical work. Augmodo positions that the same intelligence can power order fulfillment in ecommerce as well as wrench-handling on factory floors. Following recent traction, Augmodo raised $21M at a $350M valuation to scale into new verticals including warehousing, auditing, maintenance, manufacturing, and automotive. The company said it is scaling fast and hiring aggressively to execute on that roadmap. The article did not provide revenue, user, or other financial metrics.
- Plenful
Led · Series B · Apr 2025
Plenful provides a purpose-built AI workflow automation platform that handles messy, disparate workflows across formats, systems, and departments to reduce errors and streamline healthcare operations. Its most adopted use cases include prior authorization, 340B compliance and missed opportunity auditing, and order and referral data entry. The platform offers real-time reporting and task management and is used by pharmacies, health systems, provider groups, and payors. Plenful reports over 4x year-over-year growth and is trusted by more than 60 leading U.S. healthcare organizations. Customers cite significant efficiency gains—one customer reported a 96% reduction in time spent on a workflow—allowing redeployment of staff to higher-value tasks. With this traction, the company plans to expand its platform to address additional unmet needs across pharmacy, health systems, provider groups, and payor markets. Plenful intends to invest in machine learning, engineering, product, partnerships, and customer success as it scales. Plenful is an AI workflow automation platform that streamlines pharmacy and healthcare operations with a highly-configurable software suite. It automates administrative tasks for health system, specialty, long-term care, compounding pharmacies and specialty providers. The platform claims to reduce manual work by up to 97% and to automate more than 95% of document data entry, while identifying millions of dollars in savings opportunities. Core use-cases include 340B auditing and missed-opportunity identification, contracted rates and inventory optimization, and intelligent document data-entry automation. Customers named in the article include Tampa General Hospital, Renown Health, Salinas Valley Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and dozens of other healthcare teams. Plenful plans to build out infrastructure, tailor automations to customer needs, and expand its machine-learning capabilities with a focus on LLMs to improve the customer experience. The company announced a $17M Series A, bringing total capital raised to more than $25M. Plenful offers a no-code, highly configurable workflow automation platform designed for healthcare providers and pharmacies to automate administrative work and reduce manual data entry. The platform sits on top of disparate data sources, ingesting PDFs and electronic medical records, validating data and applying algorithms to surface actionable insights and prevent errors. Customers use the product to automate document data entry for onboarding and referring prescription orders, perform audits, and identify potential areas of savings. Plenful was founded during the pandemic and is positioned to reduce technician burnout by freeing clinical teams to focus on top-of-license activities. The company has a roughly 20-person team, about 20 healthcare customers, and reports multiple years of runway. Planned use of funds includes building out the platform and expanding engineering, product, sales, and operations headcount while scaling the customer base.
- Cloudbase
Led · Seed · Aug 2022
Cloudbase offers a security-focused SaaS platform that lets companies centrally manage their public-cloud assets and run comprehensive, proprietary scans to detect misconfigurations and vulnerabilities across AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure and other services. When issues are found, the product recommends concrete remediation steps, helping in-house teams maintain a consistently safe cloud posture without requiring deep security expertise. The tool currently concentrates on identifying open ports, overly broad storage permissions, and similar configuration gaps. The team plans to expand functionality so that customers can feel their cloud environments are fully protected simply by deploying Cloudbase. The company benchmarks itself against Israeli unicorn Wiz, which recently announced reaching US$100 million ARR 18 months after launch, signaling Cloudbase’s growth aspirations. Financially, Cloudbase is in an early stage, having just secured a ¥130 million seed round to fund product development and go-to-market efforts.
- Celonis
Participated · Series D · Aug 2022
Celonis builds process-mining software that pulls data from enterprise systems, desktops, IT, email apps and workflows to find root-cause process issues and, uniquely, attempts to automatically fix those problems without touching underlying systems. Its technology sits alongside and feeds robotic process automation (RPA) efforts by enabling task capture and remediation. The company claims over 2,500 enterprise deployments worldwide and works with roughly 10,000 consultants and 2,000 consulting firms and tech partners, including IBM, Accenture, PwC, KPMG and ServiceNow. Celonis has graduated more than 100,000 practitioners from its certification program. The startup plans to deploy new capital toward product development, customer acquisition and general market expansion. Financially, Celonis secured a large extension at a $13 billion post-money valuation and has now raised $2.4 billion in total capital. Celonis builds process-mining software that maps how work flows through organizations to identify inefficiencies and accelerate automation. The company is expanding beyond core process mining into broader automated workflow tooling and could use new capital to buy talent and functionality. It recently announced a significant partnership with IBM, including plans for IBM to train 10,000 consultants worldwide on Celonis tooling. Celonis says it has about 1,000 enterprise customers, including Uber, Dell, Splunk, L'Oréal and AstraZeneca. The company recently turned 10 and expects to reach roughly 2,000 employees by year end. Celonis also named Carlos Kirjner, formerly of Google finance, as its new CFO. Celonis provides a process-mining platform that tracks data produced by an organization’s software and how those systems operate to generate actionable insights. The platform monitors an organization’s full set of applications (from 5 to over 100) to produce an “X-ray” view used to identify efficiency gains and issues. Those insights are used by customers or consultants to recommend actions—such as deploying RPA, switching software, or reconfiguring staff—and are intended for continuous monitoring to detect new patterns. Recently Celonis has expanded into monitoring operations and customer experience, targeting a wider range of company sizes and incorporating more AI into its methods. The company says it does not plan to build RPA or other execution tools itself, preferring to focus on its core guidance layer. Celonis reports triple-digit growth, counts customers such as Siemens, Cisco, L’Oréal, Deutsche Telekom and Vodafone, and has been cash-flow positive since the start. Celonis builds process-mining software that ingests IT system logs (SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, Netsuite) to visualize how business processes actually run and to recommend incremental improvements, including where robotics process automation makes sense. The product creates a continuous improvement loop rather than a one-time fix, surfacing many small, easy-to-implement changes for customers. Customers include ExxonMobil, 3M, Merck, Lockheed‑Martin and Uber, and deals are often seven figures. The company reports 5,000% growth over four years and 300% growth in the past year, has about 400 employees, and says it has been profitable every year since founding. Management positions the software as a way to reduce dependence on expensive consultants by automating process analysis and recommendations. Celonis offers process-mining software that integrates with roughly 60 enterprise IT systems (including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce and ServiceNow) to analyze transaction logs in real time and surface recommendations to improve operations. The product generates dashboards and focused recommendations across functions such as procurement, supply chain, accounting, customer service and e‑commerce, and claims to improve operational efficiency by 20–30 percent for customers. It has more than 200 customers across 15 industries in 25 countries, including Siemens, KPMG, Deloitte, Bayer and Vodafone, and has a global reseller agreement with SAP to combine its tech with SAP HANA. The company can also plug into legacy systems, typically via implementation partners, and does not offer consulting services beyond training customers to use the software. Celonis has been revenue-generating and profitable for multiple years and reports roughly 4,000% growth over the prior four-year period, though it does not disclose absolute revenue figures. The company plans to use outside capital to build the market further—particularly in the U.S.—and to continue product and go-to-market investments.
