Its service yields roughly 40–60 "stones" per person and is priced at $595 for human remains, $295 for dogs, and $245 for cats. Parting Stone has grown its network to more than 200 local funeral home partners and reports increased demand during COVID-19. The company plans to broaden direct-to-consumer access to over 20 million families living with ashes and expand its Santa Fe laboratory. Parting Stone projects that solidified remains could capture more than 50% of the cremated remains market by 2030.
