Proseek Bio is developing OC-Triage, a blood-based diagnostic intended to improve earlier and more precise clinical decision-making for suspected ovarian cancer. The company aims to reduce unnecessary or delayed surgeries and improve referral pathways by integrating deployable diagnostic platforms into real clinical workflows. Proseek is starting with ovarian cancer but plans to expand beyond that initial indication. The company has secured non-dilutive backing from CSIRO (ON Accelerate and Kick-Start), Advance Queensland, and the Brisbane Economic Development Agency Medtech Global Accelerator. Founders cited in the funding coverage include Michelle Hill, PhD, and Leo Bolero. Current financing includes an oversubscribed A$1.5M seed round to support clinical lab deployment and validation work.
