Maine Avenue Technologies provides an integrated software and hardware platform that automates secure processes for refurbished devices, including data backup, certified data erasure, device diagnostics, refurbishment and condition assessment both in technical centers and at retail locations. Its solution emphasizes security, automation and ease of use so operators can perform complex refurbishment workflows without specialized training by simply connecting a device and selecting the desired operation. MAT has been developing its differentiated proposition for the refurbished devices market since 2019 and holds the highest security certification available for refurbishment processes as well as ADISA certification. The company was founded in 2003 by Javier Contreras and Francisco del Sol. With the recent €200,000 Seed round, MAT plans to accelerate commercial growth in Spain, expand its team, and continue product development including new prototypes and use cases.
