The company positions itself as providing the cheapest and most convenient way to transfer money for supporting family members or paying for services overseas. Moneytrans has served in excess of 10 million customers and enables near-instant send and receive capabilities through digital mechanisms and its retail network. The €11 million growth equity financing is intended to support deployment of a newly developed product for the neobanking sector tailored to the remittance and working migrants market. Management says the funding will help expand and scale the reach of its products globally to foster financial inclusion for migrants.
