SimpleEstate operates an online investment platform enabling investors to commit from ₽100,000 into professionally selected commercial real-estate properties. The company was founded in 2019 by former Goldman Sachs banker Nikita Kornienko and is listed in the Central Bank of Russia’s registry of investment platforms. Its real-estate portfolio is valued at over ₽1.3 billion, and the platform reports more than 10,000 registered investors. In August 2022 SimpleEstate raised ₽30 million from private fund AYR Capital in exchange for 13% of the company. In December 2023 the company received ₽30 million from venture funds Kama Flow, Malina VC and AYR Capital. Most recently SimpleEstate attracted ₽2.6 million from 19 participants of the Venture Academy 6, who joined a larger round that had already closed ₽30 million. The founder has stated plans to raise an additional ₽20 million from a syndicate of private investors in 2024. Financially, SimpleEstate posted ₽15.6 million revenue for the first eight months of 2023 (an 86% increase versus full-year 2022) and expects roughly ₽30 million for full-year 2023. Management says the newly raised capital will be used to expand the team, continue platform development and fund marketing, and that it plans to raise an additional ₽20 million from a syndicate of private investors in 2024. Prior fundraising includes a ₽30 million August 2022 investment from private fund AYR Capital in exchange for a 13% stake.
