- Push Security
Participated · Series B · Apr 2025
Push Security provides a browser agent–based identity security platform that monitors and defends workforce identities, detecting and intercepting attacks like zero-day phishing, credential stuffing, and session hijacking. The company emphasizes a research-driven approach—publishing resources such as its open-source SaaS attack matrix—to inform product feature development and improve detection accuracy. Push’s platform maps identity attack surfaces, identifies vulnerabilities (stolen credentials, missing MFA, non-SSO identities), and enables security teams to act proactively. Recent growth metrics show Push’s customer base grew 380% year-over-year in January 2025, and its platform is deployed on more than 1.5 million endpoints globally. The company has more than doubled its headcount over the past year and added senior commercial hires, including a new CRO and CMO. Push plans to use expanded product and research capabilities to scale its platform and expand into new markets. Push Security provides a desktop-focused tool that observes how employees use web-based apps and automatically “pushes” suggestions to improve security (for example, stronger passwords) rather than blocking activity. It notifies security and IT teams with summaries, adds discovered apps to a monitoring dashboard, flags risky integrations and can bar clearly dodgy apps. The product works for users authenticating via Office 365 or Google Workspace and explicitly does not cover mobile. Since launching in July 2022 the startup says its tools have been adopted by “hundreds” of teams and roughly 50,000 users, and it has added close to 500 SaaS apps to customer dashboards. Push’s research found that 23% of Microsoft integrations and 17% of Google integrations granted access to high‑risk assets, and that only one‑third of Microsoft app integrations were approved by IT via OAuth. The company recently raised funding to expand the product and commercial footprint. Push Security provides a platform that inventories company SaaS usage by connecting to Office 365 or Google Workspace and prompting employees to install a browser extension. The extension identifies SaaS apps, weak or repeated passwords, third-party integrations, extensions and bots, and the platform surfaces company- and individual-level dashboards showing who uses what and which browsers are used. It uses chatbot-style prompts integrated with tools like Slack to guide users through security steps such as enabling two-factor authentication and improving passwords. The company positions itself to reduce shadow IT by enabling employees to continue using preferred tools while helping security teams ensure logins and integrations are secure. Push launched out of stealth alongside a public debut and says it is working with customers across fintech, security, insurance, pharmaceutical and retail, with companies ranging from about 10 employees to 16,000. Financially, Push closed a $4 million seed round to support the product launch.

- FORO
Participated · Series A · Mar 2023
Foro provides a platform that simplifies and streamlines the commercial lending process for growing businesses seeking $1M-$20M. It uses a proprietary algorithm to give businesses the choice, clarity, and confidence needed to select the right lender and accelerate growth. At the same time, lenders can use the platform to identify businesses actively seeking growth capital that fit their lending criteria. Led by CEO Dave Godsman, Foro raised $4M in a Series A extension and intends to use the funds to scale its reach. The company is based in Charlotte, NC. Foro is a fintech startup that operates a digital commercial lending platform designed to streamline access to capital for businesses. Led by CEO Dave Godsman, the platform has business owners complete a guided profile that focuses on the specific questions lenders initially want answered. That profile is anonymized and routed to potential matches among banks, credit unions and alternative lenders, with lenders able to express interest in as little as 48 hours. Foro says this approach cuts the initial discovery period and lets businesses choose between multiple financial partners. The company raised $8M in a Series A led by TTV Capital with participation from Fin Capital, Correlation Ventures and AME Cloud Ventures. Foro intends to use the funds to accelerate the national launch of its digital commercial lending platform.
