    Led · Series A · Sep 2025

Tangany provides a market‑leading B2B custody platform and white‑label API that enables banks, trading platforms, and fintechs to integrate blockchain services while remaining compliant. The BaFin‑regulated fintech safeguards over €3 billion in digital assets and supports more than 700,000 active customer accounts across 60+ institutional clients. Its product reduces costs and accelerates go‑to‑market for customers by providing institutional‑grade custody infrastructure. Since its 2022 seed round the company has doubled revenue and scaled its organization. With MiCA approaching, Tangany plans EU expansion, to strengthen operations, and to deepen its role as a regulated digital asset custodian. The company has reinforced partnerships with Baader Bank and Elevator Ventures / Raiffeisen Bank as part of its growth strategy. Tangany is a Munich-based fintech offering custody of digital assets via its Wallet as a Service (WaaS). Its proprietary solution supports both hot and cold wallets and secures Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins, security tokens and NFTs. The startup aims to advance crypto adoption and help organisations expand their catalogue of financial products while smoothing the transition for customers. Tangany plans to add staking and yield farming services to its existing custody business and will use new funding to expand staff by the end of 2022. Founded in 2019, the company reports over €400 million of digital assets under custody and has onboarded over 25 new clients, including Tezos Foundation, Quirin Privatbank and Exporo. Tangany has been growing through its own profitability and said the round was 4x oversubscribed. Tangany is a Munich-based blockchain custody startup led by Martin Kreitmair, Christopher Zapf and Alexey Utin. The company offers a crypto storage solution for businesses, including secure wallet management in a hardware security module and support for blockchains such as Ethereum, Bitcoin or a customer's own chain. Its solution can be integrated via an API or deployed as a white-label wallet. Tangany serves companies across the EU and beyond. The recently raised seed financing (amount undisclosed) will be used to accelerate customer growth and further develop the technology. The capital will also support Tangany's application for a German 'crypto storage license' with BaFin in accordance with the Money Laundering Act.
