Cofounder, created by The General Intelligence Company of New York, is developing the infrastructure for the "one-person billion-dollar company." Today the product functions as an assistant, but the team is evolving it into the first full-stack agent company platform so that product/engineering, sales and go-to-market, customer support, and operations can all be run entirely by AI agents. The founders believe agent capabilities are advancing rapidly yet remain siloed in point solutions; their platform aims to unify those capabilities into a cohesive operating system for businesses. Over the next five years they envision millions of AI-enabled companies being launched on Cofounder, culminating in a 2026 public demonstration of a software company operated solely by agents. The company’s branding—sunflowers, greenery and leisure imagery—underscores its mission to let people work less and spend more time on what they love. To fund these ambitions, Cofounder has secured $8.7 million in seed capital led by Union Square Ventures.
