- Nexxa.ai
Participated · Seed · Jul 2025
Founded in 2024 and headquartered in Sunnyvale, California, Nexxa.ai develops Nitro, a multi-agent orchestration platform that layers on top of legacy industrial engineering software to automate complex, non-standard workflows. The system allows Forward Deployed Engineers to embed compliant, explainable AI into rail, construction, manufacturing and other critical-infrastructure processes, delivering measurable ROI within weeks. Current enterprise users include Siemens, Matikon and additional undisclosed customers, and the product is also distributed via the Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace. Management plans to leverage its new capital to scale revenue 10× during 2026 by expanding across core heavy-industry sectors. Nexxa.ai positions its technology as a catalyst for modernizing America’s industrial backbone without ripping out existing systems. The company has secured $14 million in total funding to date, comprised of a pre-seed and the latest seed round, to accelerate product development and go-to-market execution.
- GoDaddy
Participated · Seed · Jun 2025
PLAiR’s core product is a dolphin-fin-shaped USB dongle that plugs into a TV and, once connected to Wi-Fi via a companion mobile app, lets users send photos and videos from computers, tablets, or phones directly to the big screen. Priced in the $59–$79 range, the device seeks to differentiate itself from Apple TV and Roku by allowing playback of almost any online or mobile content rather than being limited to pre-approved apps. PLAiR supports iOS and Android apps as well as browser extensions for creating and managing video playlists, and multiple dongles can be linked to beam content to several TVs simultaneously. The company has raised $2.1 million to finance the product’s rollout. While specific revenue, user numbers, founding date, and location were not disclosed, the firm is positioning its affordable, platform-agnostic hardware as an alternative to Apple’s AirPlay ecosystem and other set-top streaming solutions.
- Bolo AI
Participated · Seed · Jun 2025
Bolo AI builds an enterprise AI system of action for heavy industries that unlocks knowledge buried across procedures, documents, and legacy systems so teams can act quickly and with confidence. The platform aims to reduce downtime, improve safety margins, and enable smarter, faster operations across the industrial value chain. Co‑founded by Diti Sood and Dr. Lalit Jain, the team combines field engineering experience in oil and gas with more than 15 years of applied machine learning expertise. The company is headquartered in Palo Alto and maintains an engineering hub in Bangalore, India. Early partners include a Fortune 500 industrial firm and the largest oil refinery in the U.S., which are collaborating on pilot programs and proofs of concept. With Seed funding, Bolo plans to grow engineering and go‑to‑market teams, deepen integrations with enterprise systems, and accelerate deployments across energy, utility, and industrial operations.
- New Gen
Participated · Seed · May 2025
New Gen is building an AI-based commerce platform that converts a brand’s existing product catalog into structured, AI-readable data and presents it through a generative, visual answer engine hosted at a dedicated sub-domain (e.g., ai.yourbrand.com). Shoppers and AI agents alike can query the storefront in natural language and receive instant, personalized product recommendations, effectively dropping them deeper into the purchase funnel. The system preserves brands’ creative control while giving them richer behavioral data and higher-intent traffic from emerging generative-AI channels. Founded by Harvard Business School alumni Adam Behrens and Jonathan Arena, the company emerged from stealth in 2024 and is already piloting instant-checkout functionality with enterprise partners. By allowing brands to add AI capability without overhauling current sites or tech stacks, New Gen positions itself as foundational infrastructure for the coming “AI internet.” The founders argue that conversational discovery will supersede SEO-driven browsing, and brands that adopt AI-native storefronts early will capture the next wave of online shoppers. The $4.5 million seed round provides the capital required to scale the platform and onboard additional enterprise customers.
