Little Umbrella develops AI-driven social party games and a cross-platform developer kit called Playroom that orchestras multiple custom models. The studio uses generative AI as unpredictable game masters to create varied, replayable party experiences and claims it built Death by AI in ten weeks. Death by AI attracted over 20 million players within its first three months and is available free on Discord, the web, and iOS for up to eight players. Playroom — powered with custom models in partnership with ElevenLabs, Inworld, and OpenAI — is offered to developers with tiers from $10 to $150 per month plus a free tier. The company announced a $2 million seed round and plans to use the capital to expedite the launch of three AI-powered social games over the coming year. One upcoming title, tentatively called The Last Show by AI, will run a beta at the 2025 Game Developers Conference.
