Oro operates a comprehensive housing-benefits platform that integrates into employers’ existing benefits stacks and supports employees who rent, plan to buy, or already own homes. Through the system, workers receive concierge housing assistance, rent-to-credit reporting, home-buyer education, down-payment assistance guidance, and referrals covering taxes, insurance, and maintenance. Employers can also fund specific programs—such as help with down payments, closing costs, interest-rate buydowns, or PMI—while tracking measurable ROI on retention and engagement. In a pre-launch pilot, Oro enabled eight employees to become first-time homeowners and now supports more than 1,200 employees on its platform, demonstrating early traction. The company positions “Housing as a Benefit” as the next frontier in employee wellness and retention strategies. Founded by former attorney George Fatheree, Oro is organized as a Delaware public benefit corporation. The newly raised capital will accelerate go-to-market efforts, expand employer adoption, and advance the technology underpinning the platform.

Upkey provides free, self-paced professional development navigation tools for students from high school through university, including resume-building, pitch development, interview prep, virtual classes and internships. The company has launched Dashboard, a customized career map with interactive, gamified modules that let students earn ranks and badges. It also runs a virtual summer internship program (VIP), an 8-week master class where students complete projects for college credit. Upkey’s platform is positioned to help enterprises build a diverse pipeline of polished candidates through multiple touchpoints. The company recently signed Purdue University, Southern New Hampshire University and The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America as customers. Following a $2.6M seed raise, Upkey plans to grow and scale operations and open a second office in Austin, Texas.
