Resal is a Jeddah-based e-gifting platform that facilitates the management and exchange of loyalty points, prepaid cards, and vouchers from multiple sources. The Resal Wallet app lets users accumulate and aggregate loyalty points from telecom companies, banks, and airlines into a digital wallet and convert those points into value for everyday purchases across a network of more than 1,000 brands. The company’s “Resal for Merchants” platform enables merchants and brand owners to design loyalty programs and digital cards, interact with customers, and drive sales by connecting to Resal’s solutions network. Resal partners with banks, telecom companies, airlines, and governmental and non-governmental organisations to source and redeem rewards. Founded in 2016 by Fouad Alfarhan and Hatem Kameli, the company raised $9M and intends to use the proceeds to accelerate business growth within the Kingdom. Backers include institutional investors, family offices, and angels supporting its expansion plans.
