  • Avery

    Led · Equity · Mar 2025

Avery builds an HRtech platform that applies semantic intelligence and market data to validate roles before resumes are screened, predict candidate success before interviews, and ensure market alignment before offers. Its semantic engine reads between the lines of job requirements and candidate profiles, surfacing candidates traditional tools overlook, and the company reports near 100% hiring manager satisfaction. The model continuously learns—every click and successful hire improves future matches. Avery targets ambitious organisations with 200–1,000 employees in technology, professional services, and other scaleups where mis-hires can severely impair growth. The company has 25 customers across six countries and will use the newly raised funds to expand across Europe. Founders Alisher Jafarov (CEO) and Marco Dubbeld (CTO) lead product and company strategy, drawing on prior experience building and scaling commercial teams.

  • Everday

    Led · Seed · Oct 2024

Everday provides an AI-driven skill management platform that creates digital twins of employees to map, assess, and visualize skills without manual data input or complex integrations. The platform includes skill assessment and visualization tools used by organizations to evaluate skill levels. The company plans to use the new funding to support go-to-market efforts and product development, including a feature to predict sector trends and skills. Everday officially launched on October 1, 2024 and was founded by Estefania Hernandez and Dylan Moerland. It is based in Rotterdam and currently serves 13 customers across nine countries, including The Last Mile and Leadsales.

  • Cambio

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2024

Cambio builds AI phone bots that negotiate debt collections on behalf of consumers and, via an API called AviaryAI, places outreach and sales calls for banks, credit unions and insurers. The company began as a neobank in 2021 but pivoted after Y Combinator to focus on tools that help users improve credit and resolve collections. Cambio says its debt-negotiation offering helped around 70% of customers resolve collections and that seven out of 10 customers improved their credit scores within 60 days. The consumer app has reached nearly 90,000 users and the business model shifted from freemium to paid. Cambio is trialing its B2B API with early adopters including Envisant, Encurage Financial Network, Agenium and Skyla Credit Union, and plans to focus monetization efforts on the API while keeping the consumer app. The company also emphasizes legal compliance and quality-control measures for its bots, and reports AI-call pickup and success rates comparable to human callers. Cambio is a mobile app serving consumers with credit scores below 650, helping them resolve bad credit items, build credit through a 0% interest loan, and access affordable refinancing opportunities. Members receive daily guidance and updates to navigate the complex U.S. credit system. The company positions itself as addressing roughly 100 million consumers with debt in collections and aims to help non-banking Americans save money and rebuild finances. Cambio says it grew from an idea to a movement where people can invest in themselves and escape the pain of damaged credit. The company plans to use Y Combinator's resources to accelerate growth and impact following its acceptance into YC's Summer 2022 cohort. Cambio is based in Chicago and is led by CEO and founder Blesson Abraham.

  • Peregrine Hydrogen

    Participated · Seed · Sep 2023

Peregrine Hydrogen develops a proprietary electrolyzer-based co-production technology that produces clean hydrogen together with valuable industrial chemicals. The company says this approach can reach cost parity with steam methane reforming by producing hydrogen alongside higher-value chemical streams. Peregrine spun out of the climate technology incubator Orca Sciences in June 2023 and is operating from Santa Cruz/California while growing its technical team in the state. It plans to target fertilizer applications initially and then expand into broader commodity chemical markets. The company will use an oversubscribed $7.8M seed financing to refine and scale up its technology and to support technical development and hiring of chemical and process engineers. Investors include Bidra, Builders, Gates Frontier, Presidio Ventures, RiSC Capital and Schox.

  • Bowery Valuation

    Participated · Series A · Jan 2019

Bowery Valuation develops a cloud-based commercial appraisal writing platform and companion mobile application that leverages big data and internal expertise to automate and accelerate the appraisal process. After two years of development, the company officially launched its appraisal business on May 1. Its technology aims to reduce turnaround times and improve accuracy for commercial real-estate valuations, providing a modern alternative to traditional appraisal workflows. Co-CEOs John Meadows and Noah Isaacs, both formerly of the Leitner Group, lead the firm alongside CTO Cesar Devers. The fresh capital will be allocated to expanding both the technology and appraisal teams, underscoring Bowery’s focus on product enhancement and service capacity. To date, the company has raised $1.75 million, giving it initial resources to scale operations and pursue additional market share in the commercial real-estate sector.
