Overview

We support energetic and passionate creators and guide them through their entrepreneurial journey. Through our regional roots, international mindset, and sustainable actions, we inspire, inform, empower and connect. We promote a spirit of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial culture and create a home for all players in the startup and innovation ecosystem. We are a startup ourselves and as such, we strive to build a dream team, great company culture, and organization that we all love to work for. Our core philosophy is people over process and values over rules. Therefore, it is very important for us that we provide context to our team members, are very authentic and transparent, and share the same values. We value team spirit, courage, honesty, integrity, excellence, respect, inclusivity, flexibility, and speed. We are customer-centric and willing to try new things. We have the courage to do things differently and provide constant feedback to our colleagues. This way, we believe we will learn faster, provide better programs, and build trust among our team members, students, startups, and corporate partners.

  • HyImpulse Technologies GmbH

    Led · Series A · Oct 2025

Founded in 2018 by Dr Christian Schmierer, Konstantin Tomilin and Ulrich Fischer, HyImpulse Technologies is building hybrid rocket engines that combine solid and liquid propellants to cut propulsion complexity roughly in half while boosting safety and cost efficiency. Its first vehicle, the SR75, completed a milestone suborbital test flight in 2024, with commercial suborbital launches planned for 2026. The follow-on SL1 orbital launcher is slated for 2027 and is designed to carry up to 600 kg to low-Earth orbit, positioning the company as “Europe’s flexible taxi to space” by offering dedicated launch windows instead of rideshare slots. HyImpulse operates across facilities in Neuenstadt, Ottobrunn and Glasgow and competes with European peers such as Isar Aerospace and Rocket Factory Augsburg. Management claims a pipeline worth hundreds of millions of euros, reflecting strong demand from customers seeking sovereign European launch capacity. Beyond launch services, the firm envisions enabling Europe’s participation in the expanding trillion-euro space economy by supplying domestically built, sustainable rockets.
