  • Hoope

    Participated · Equity · May 2024

Hoope manufactures organic biscuits made in France from superfoods like spirulina. The company positions its products as healthier and more natural, leveraging the nutritional richness of spirulina. It recently completed a €1 million funding round that strengthens its financial position. Historical investors Capitole Angels and Provence Angels reinvested in the round. New backers include Igon Olivier, Markus Sandmayr, Filippo Della Torre, Hugo Dutertre and Alexandre Poncini. The financing completes the first tranche of a fundraising process that began in 2023.

  • Deepbloo

    Participated · Equity · Jan 2021

Deepbloo operates a platform for energy-sector business development that collects public tenders and applies Natural Language Processing to analyse unstructured data and surface qualified opportunities for professionals. The service provides clients with a tailored portfolio of opportunities plus market-monitoring and commercial intelligence tools. The company reports 2,500 active professionals on the platform, about 400,000 tenders available in real time, and 1,000–2,000 tenders collected daily. Management says it already generates roughly 80% of its sales internationally and plans to accelerate international commercialisation. Proceeds from the recent financing will be used to deepen the platform's intelligent identification and analysis of unstructured tender data and to speed up commercial roll-out. Deepbloo was founded in late 2018 and is incubated at the Montpellier Business Innovation Center, employing about ten people across Montpellier and Bordeaux.

  • Phonitive - Touchalize

    Led · Equity · Jan 2013

Phonitive’s flagship product, Touchalize, makes video content interactive by letting viewers tap objects to pause playback, modify elements (for example changing colour), add their own photos, and then continue the video in its updated form. The startup targets digital advertising as its main market while also seeing use cases in e‑commerce, online learning and the music industry. Prior to this round Phonitive was self‑funded, financing R&D and the Touchalize prototype through mobile client projects. The company has additional products in the pipeline and plans further R&D work funded by the new investment. The funding will also be used to commercialize Touchalize and to recruit for development, marketing and sales roles. Phonitive was a LeWeb startup competition finalist, and cites technologies like Adobe Flash as comparable interactive‑video tools.
