Turbi is a technology company that pioneered fully digital car rental in Brazil, allowing customers to book vehicles from one hour to monthly subscriptions via its mobile app. Its fleet is strategically distributed across roughly 300 partner parking facilities that operate 24/7 in 12 cities of the Greater São Paulo region, enabling round-the-clock pickup and return without paperwork. Boosted by the latest financing, Turbi now manages about 7,000 cars, more than double its fleet size in September 2024. The company expects to close the year with approximately R$500 million in revenue and reported a 58% EBITDA margin in its rental (RAC) unit during the first half of the year, around 20 percentage points above traditional rental competitors with similar fleet size. Beyond rentals, Turbi sells de-fleeted cars through its Turbi Seminovos brand; this segment already accounts for roughly 30% of revenue. In 2024 the firm sold about 1,300 vehicles and aims to top 2,000 sales this year, shifting 70% of its sales to direct B2C channels. Management plans to leverage its newer, higher-spec vehicles and expanding retail footprint to lift average resale values toward 100% of the FIPE pricing benchmark. Overall, Turbi states it is doubling in size annually, posting record revenue and margin metrics that are driving operational profitability.
