Overview
The Cass Entrepreneurship Fund is a £10m venture capital fund based at Cass Business School in London. Initial investments range between £100k and £500k and they invest early stage revenue generating businesses. They support revenue-generating businesses with financial investment and broader resources needed to deliver early commercial growth. A new £10m Fund was launched in 2016, and continues to actively invest in new businesses. The Cass Entrepreneurship Fund was set up with the generous support of Peter Cullum, CBE. A successful entrepreneur and alumnus of Cass Business School, Peter's vision for a hub that provides practical support to growing businesses and entrepreneurs has enabled the rapid growth of many new businesses from the Cass network and broader early-stage UK company ecosystem.

AirEx, launched in 2020, develops the first smart air brick technology that uses sensors to monitor conditions and regulate airflow under floors to reduce heat loss. Its product aims to improve energy performance and resident health without requiring expensive or disruptive interventions. AirEx has established commercial partnerships with dozens of housing providers and Tier 1 contractors, including Warmworks, Peabody and Together Housing. To date the company reports over 39,000 smart air bricks installed across more than 6,400 homes, delivering an estimated £40 million in lifetime energy bill savings for households in fuel poverty and more than 40,000 tonnes of lifetime carbon emissions abatement. The company plans to use the £2.1 million funding to accelerate large-scale deployment, develop new products and expand into new partnerships and broader market rollout. AirEx positions itself to scale commercially alongside government retrofit funding and social housing upgrade programmes.

Its product helps businesses determine "who has access to what" across large collections of files, folders and sites. Torsion uses machine learning to engage business users in securing their information and to precisely control access, aiming to drive robust security outcomes. The technology integrates with enterprise collaboration systems including Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint and file shares to improve data security, simplify compliance, and facilitate collaboration and productivity. Boundary Capital Partners has invested £200,000 to support the company's commercial development. Management highlights a hands-on investor engagement approach as they continue to grow the business.

Raremark is headquartered in London and also maintains an office in Boston, US.
